Dronica was forced out of her home in the North in 2001 when some of her neighbors were killed by rebels. Dronica came to the Acholi Quarter to escape. She now works in the stone quarry and makes paper beads, while her husband works as a porter. Now Christine supports her family by making paper beads and doing tailoring work. Her husband is an engineer and works construction when he can find work. Project Have Hope funded Christine's tailoring vocational training, and also gave her a grant with which she bought a sewing machine.
