To help new Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers get started in the cloud, AWS is introducing a new free usage tier. Beginning November 1, 2010 new AWS customers will be able to run a free Amazon EC2 Micro Instance for a year, while also leveraging a new free usage tier for Amazon S3, Amazon Elastic Block Store, Amazon Elastic Load Balancing, and AWS data transfer. We will be preparing an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) which is a fully configured OS running the NextDB web services and hosting the NextDB APIs and Admin console. All you will need to do is run the AMI instance and the NextDB service will start up and you can immediately log into the admin pages with the pre-configured account and then get working with NextDB building your apps.
